The JRCC provides crucial services to survivors of sexual assault as well as to the population at large, such as, personal support via the 24hour hotline, one on one meetings and support groups for survivors, accompaniment to hospitals, to courts, and to police stations in and around Jerusalem and advocacy, raising public awareness and legislative activism.
Along with providing services and support for victims, we work towards social change through educating a wide variety of professionals who interact with victims of sexual violence ranging from police officers, attorneys, doctors and nurses, therapists and more.
In addition, the Education Department's volunteers travel to schools all around greater Jerusalem to facilitate workshops on healthy relationships, gender equality and who to turn to if you need help or are worried about a friend.
More than 200 dedicated volunteers and a staff of 10 offer skilled and heartfelt support annually to thousands of women, girls and children who have been raped, abused, harassed or sexually assaulted.
