At Yemin Orde we are dedicated to giving youth at risk the highest quality care and education. Yemin Orde Youth Village has a culture of encouraging children to pursue their talents and goals and to take on positions of leadership.

Founded in 1953, the Yemin Orde Youth Village is home to nearly 500 immigrant children ages 6 – 19 from around the world. The majority of the children are from Ethiopia, countries of the Former Soviet Union, and Brazil. Many are orphans, some have families in their native countries but came to Israel alone, others are from single-parent or challenged families.
While nothing can truly replace a healthy nuclear family, a youth village is often the best alternative for children-at-risk, and Yemin Orde has been widely acclaimed for its success. Yemin Orde graduates are leaders in every sector of Israeli society - business, government, education, social services, NGOs and the IDF, and role models for Israeli youngster, especially immigrants and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds.
At Yemin Orde, we have an expanded staff of informal educators, social workers and counselors. We believe that these individuals are imperative for our children's development and their ongoing education.
