Kehillat Emet VeShalom Nahariya is an egalitarian congregation which offers northern Israel a place to express Jewish religious & spiritual identity in an open non-Orthodox environment. Both women and men, daughters & sons, have a place to celebrate.

Emet VeShalom, founded in Nahariya in 1963 is one of the oldest Reform congregations in Israel. Women and men, daughters and sons celebrate Shabbat, life-cycle events, and holidays in services and share in a complete, egalitarian, Jewish religious life. The congregation offers area residents a place to experience and express their Jewish religious and spiritual identity in a welcoming and inclusive environment filled with spirit and song. At Emet veShalom, a diverse group of Jews from Israel and around the world join together in a vibrant spiritual community sharing the best Israel has to offer.
Emet VeShalom has established programs for diverse sections of the local community - native Israelis as well as new and long-established immigrants from South America, Russia and English speaking countries. These programs provide a channel for socialization and the acquisition of Jewish and Israeli values and traditions in a supportive, relaxed and enjoyable framework.
