Our History and Progress
During the last five years CLICK has been going through a major process of development. Primarily it has become more in control of needs assessment, service provision, and fund raising and becoming less reliant on municipal and government supervision and funding. CLICK believes that financial independence will provide more direct services for the age in a less bureaucratic environment. CLICK’S emphasis consequently is on strategic budget planning, monitoring and intensive fund raising activities involving business innovation, with 52% of the 2009 annual budget independently raised, compared to 28% five years ago; and far above the national average of 36%. Summarizing the significant achievements over the last five years increased service provision, with a focus on aged services, dominates. CLICK today employs 22 skilled and professional staff consisting of social workers, a nurse, teachers and trained caregivers and 50 active volunteers.
