The Movement was founded to challenge the growing extremism and Haredi influence in Orthodox Jewry that threatens the Jewish and democratic idendity of Israel, affecting the very fabric of our society. We promote a moderate worldview by strengthening tolerance and openness in Modern Orthodoxy, through a unique blend of programs, advocacy, education and outreach. We work to strengthen tolerance and openness in the education system. We work to empower the Modern Orthodox voice in the media. We work to change the relationship between Religion and State in Israel. We promote our profound belief that it is a Religious Zionist imperative to be fully involved in all aspects of modern society, without compromising our Orthodox way of life.
