The Arab-Jewish Youth Orchestra performs with the Andalusian Orchestra

The Israel Andalusian Orchestra Ashdod has invited our unique orchestra to perform with them in their nation-wide concert series. Concerts were held in Jerusalem, Beer-Sheva, Kyriat-Motzkin, Tel Aviv and Ashdod. All halls were fully packed, and audiences received our orchestra with standing ovations.
In the coming months the AJYO is to to perform at the Regional Council Bustan Elmarge (September 13), at the Ud Festival in Jerusalem (November 15), and in Kfar Blum (December 2).

The Arab Jewish Youth Orchestra has recorded new works to be released in a CD

Following a two day gathering where the AJYO rehearsed new works, a recording has been held at the Jerusalem Music Center. Among the new works are Tzvi Avni's "Bach and the East", "The Lemon Flower" arranged by Avi Amzalag-Eilam, and a special arrangement by the AJYO conductor Prof. Taiseer Elias of "Bagalil".

The flagship project of "Youth and Music Israel" is the Arab-Jewish Youth Orchestra. Created in 2002, it has since performed in Israel and abroad with standing ovations, spreading everywhere its message of Arab-Jewish coexistence and fruitful cooperation. Conductor is the Arab renown musician Prof. Taiseer Elias from Shefar'am. Recently the AJYO has won the international Wueth Prize.
