Summer camp for Jazz and classical music, 2010

During August, Matan held in conjunction with Rimon school of Jazz and Contemporary music, Jazz camp in Kibutz Ein-Gedi. Attended the camp about 70 youth aged 14-18. The camp was held under the artistic direction of Ofer and Iris Portugali, with participation of the best of Israel jazz musicians and teachers, including Erez Bar - Noy, Matan Chapnizka, Dan Aran, and Oded Goldschmidt. Saxophonist Eli Degibri, and pianist Omri Mor ran an instrument workshop and a special concert. The participants of the camp played in bands during the day, and at the evenings enjoyed various activities: a concert of the camp teachers, Jam session, campfire, swimming pool or open stage evening.
