Our activity deals with basic human rights, including the right to social security, the right to health, the right to adequate housing, the right to nutritional security, the right to education and protection of the rights of workers and unemployed.
Community Advocacy operates Walk-in Storefront Rights Advocacy Centers, community food cooperatives, public activity groups, training of public activists, working among disadvantaged populations: Jews and Arabs, Women and Men, New Immigrants as well as veteran residents, Young and Elderly, Individuals with disabilities, Recipients of benefits, Single-parent families, Workers, the Unemployed and those seeking employment. We have branches in Jerusalem, Beer Sheva, Lod and Beeralsaba - the unrecognized Bedouin villages in the Negev.
We continue to ensure that the disadvantaged know their rights, are able to defend them, exercise them and strive towards their expansion. We encourage active citizenship and participation in the democratic process, by endeavoring to help those who are usually marginalized become an integral and influential force in the public arena.
Our activities strengthen the ability of all people to impact on decision making processes.
