The “Our Heritage - Charter for Democracy” Association exists for more than two years. The organization is adherent to the principle of equal rights for all Israeli citizens and, specifically, to equality of opportunities for all ethnical and cultural groups of the Israeli society. We combat discrimination, racialism, alienation towards the Israeli Arabs, Bedouins, Druzes as well as towards new immigrants from the former USSR and Ethiopia. The Association supports the peace process and the just settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on the principle “Two states for two nations”.
The Association was founded by the group of both new immigrants from the former USSR and old-timers. Among its founders are Shulamit Aloni, David Grossman, Bruno Landsberg, Yosi Ben Basat.
