Tebeka's aim is to pursue equality and justice for Ethiopian Israelis. Tebeka promotes successful integration in Israel by ensuring Ethiopian Israelis equal access to quality legal services, protecting civil rights and cultivating community leaders.

Tebeka is the only Israeli non-profit organization that furthers the Ethiopian-Israeli community through legal tools and offers free, bilingual, first-rate legal representations to individuals in cases of discrimination. Tebeka’s work responds to the needs of Ethiopian Israelis, a population that is generally deprived of these services due to linguistic and cultural barriers. Tebeka's staff is largely comprised of Ethiopian-Israeli attorneys who appreciate the cultural nuances of both the Ethiopian-Israeli community and the veteran Israeli society and understand the community's needs. Additionally, Tebeka's numerous leadership programs equip young Ethiopian Israelis with tools to lead the next generation.
