The underlying philosophy of the Organization is based on the need to provide youth at risk with an opportunity to experience success rather than failure, and the programs include three central components that work towards this goal:
1. The Sea: The main focus of activities is the sea and its surroundings. Coping with the challenges that characterize this unfamiliar territory strengthens the youths' self-image and improves their personal and social skills.
2. Social facilitator: Each group is accompanied by a social facilitator who guides and supports the teenagers, enhances their confidence, and represents a stable, approachable, and significant figure for them.
3. Group activities: Becoming a group member creates a sense of belonging among the participants and enables them to interact in new ways and improve their social skills.
