Currently, PUSH, with over 750 volunteers, provides 1600 children, aged 8-18, with tutoring in about 110 schools in 22 towns in Israel. PUSH is also active in economically well established regions where the gap between rich and poor makes it even more difficult for less well off students to perform as well as they can.
In addition, PUSH provides remedial teaching extracurricular services in specific locations, such as Or Yehuda, where there is a lack of facilities and staff for these special activities. In the field of remedial teaching, volunteers do not have the necessary skills and there is a need to employ professional teachers. Push assists more than 200 children.
