	Our History and Progress Our main project is Mercaz Rakefet - a multi-disciplinary Child Development Center, open six days a week offering a comprehensive range of para-medical therapies and evaluations serving 400 children a month. Other LVL programs to address the special needs of children in the greater Bet Shemesh area include Remedial teaching in five local elementary schools, an Early Intervention Program for Developmentally Challenged Toddlers, Therapy Assistance Fund for families in financial distress, ADHD Evaluation Center, Toy Library and Developmental Playroom, Educational and Psychological Evaluations for Youth at Risk and Community Education Workshops to empower parents and educators to cope with special needs children in their care. more
