Who We Are
The Sderot Media Center is a non-profit organization.
The Center was founded for the purpose of giving a voice to a population marginalized by the conflict: the residents of Sderot and the Western Negev who suffer daily from the threat of terror. Sderot Media Center's work represents close to one million people living in southern Israel under the threat of Gaza missiles.
SMC seeks sponsors for community and media advocacy projects on behalf of the people of Sderot.
Our Mission
Providing Israeli and international news media with on-site film footage and reporting of missile attacks and their psychological effect upon Sderot and Western Negev residents. In doing so, we hope to spur international and local involvement with the region, in order to help the residents of this war-zone region.
