Our History and Progress
Eden Center was initially conceptualized in 2009 to build a state-of-the-art mikveh and well-being center in Jerusalem. In addition to "a welcoming and respectful environment," the center promises the services of halakhic guidance counselors, therapist and resources for sexual and physical well-being.
The Amuta is currently piloting a number of educational programs, as well as projects of interest and relevance to further our goals. We sponsor a bi-monthly lecture series on women's health and sexuality, are running a mikveh advocacy speaking tour primarily in peripheral cities, are piloting a kallah-teacher enrichment program with Bishvilaych women's health center, and have associated ourselves with "Meneket RivkA", a breastpump Gemach and other programs which we hope one day will comprise part of the women's care facilities of Eden.
