Alumot was founded in 2012 to cultivate effective leadership of people with disabilities in Israel. We believe that effective leadership is a main factor leading to equal inclusion of people with disabilities into society.

Alumot operates in the Following Areas:
• Leadership training and cultivation of people with disabilities
• Encouraging involvement of disabled leaders and activists in spheres of influence.
• Encouraging excellence and effectiveness amongst organizations of people with disabilities
• Building joint partnerships between organizations of people with disabilities and other civic organizations working on social issues (health, rights, women's issues, education, environment, etc.).
