WIT is an intergenerational women's group that celebrates the female perspective by producing plays written, designed, directed and performed by women. We are proponents of the advancement of women in the field of art and music and are excited to employ capable women to that effect. Our group performs for both Olim & native Israeli audiences, which we feel bridges the gap between the two through a medium of art and music. In addition, WIT provides workshops, musical events, improvisation evenings and theatrical presentations with the objective of entertaining, strengthening and educating girls and women of all ages. Having worked in this field for many years, the administrators at WIT have had the opportunity to watch young women, previously unsure of themselves in many areas blossom into self confident capable adults who are ready to assume leadership roles.
