|
Shvil Israel No. 3 for the seniors living in Hod Hasharon took place over a short stretch from Givat ADA, stopping for breakfast, and then visiting the Crocodile River Dam and factory in Ramot Menashe. Lunch was enjoyed at Kibbutz Nahal Hashofet, and then followed by a brisk walk to see the amazing spring fauna. All returned exhausted and satisfied!

Shalom to All
Purim is behind us and we return to our regualr dress and routine. Here in Am Yisrael Echad we have the privilege to enter the classrooms as an exception to the daily routine. Teachers have told us that this break from the regular schedule with instructors who do not meet with the students every day has important ramifications on the students behavior and participation. The instructors meeting with students without former prejudices or any former knowledge of their past behavior or grades opens a window of opportunities to the students who can "put on a new face" and cooperate and participate in a way they are unable to do with their every day teachers.
Thank-you for being our partner in educating and inspiring Jewish Israeli youth all year round. Take a look at our 2011 summary!
