Since 2009, it has helped people from around the world experience and participate in the transformative work and impact of Israel's 40,000 non-profit organizations. Over 500,000 people have contributed through its website, directly improving the lives of millions of Israelis. Through media campaigns, community education, and national public initiatives, IsraelGives also strengthens the culture of giving within Israel, and encourages Israelis to take greater responsibility for funding the life-changing work of Israel's non-profit sector.

Jonathan Ben-Dor

Founder, CEO

Israel's first online fundraiser, Jonathan has been working in the non-profit sector since 1998. A graduate of McGill University and Hebrew University school of law, Jonathan serves as CEO of IsraelGives and also of PocketCause Ltd., a new Israeli start-up.


Joseph Gitler


Joseph Gitler, the co-founder of IsraelGives, is a graduate of Yeshiva University and Fordham University Law School. After making Aliyah in 2000, he worked for three years as director of international sales and development for a family software business. He founded Table to Table in 2003 after witnessing significant food wastage in Israel at a time of rising poverty. Joseph's vision and steady hand have led the organization from a simple, one-man operation to Israel's largest food rescue organization.


Ronen Mendel


Ronen, has over 17 years of experience with computer systems, having begun at age 18 as a computer specialist in the Israeli Army. Ronen volunteered at Table to Table, and there met Yonatan - the two have been working together on different social impact projects ever since. Ronen lives in Kfar Saba with his wife Tal and three children.
