About the Project
An international group of senior Martial Arts & Self-Defense instructors are coming to Israel to support to community work of "El HaLev" via voluntary Self-Defense & Life Skill seminars for at-risk women, teens, kids and seniors all over Israel.
Why this Project is important
El HaLev self-defense instructors together with the visiting instructors from abroad will spread out throughout the country to give seminars to at-risk populations that do not have the financial means to fund programs in order to acquire the basic skills to defend their bodies, minds and spirits from victimization and violence.
What the project achieves
El HaLev self-defense instructors together with the visiting instructors from abroad will spread out throughout the country to provide mind-body-spirit empowerment seminars and a variety of activities to members of these populations. Among them: At-Risk Teens, Mentally- disabled Women, Abused Women, African Refugee Children, Foreign Workers in prison, and wheelchair-bound children and young adults.
