Our History and Progress
For ten years, Meir Panim has been providing vital welfare services to Israel's needy populations (religious, secular, Jewish, Arab, Christian, etc). : Meir Panim’s founders envisioned a supplementary welfare services agency whose activities would foster solidarity and harmony between the various ethnic and religious groups in Israel. As such, Meir Panim includes people from all levels of society and all walks of life in all levels of its work - many of Meir Panim's prized employees grew up in disadvantaged homes!
Meir Panim treats both the symptoms and the root causes of poverty, effectively enabling the disadvantaged person to break out of the vicious cycle of poverty.
Meir Panim aids all needy population groups - children, youth-at-risk, lone soldiers, adults, elderly, Holocaust survivors, new immigrants and victims of terror.
