	About the Project Through our food packages for Ethiopian families program we are able to provide 40 needy families with monthly food packages. more Why this Project is important In Be'er Sheva and all of Israel the poverty is rising. Out of 200,000 residents living here, over 60,000 people are in need of assistance. We work with welfare services to find names of families in need. Welfare services sends us lists of families who require food security. This program is one of a kind in Be'er Sheva and is the only monthly food package program in Be'er Sheva. more What the project achieves Be'er-Sova invites 40 Ethiopian families in need to come and pick up monthly food packages. The packages include dry/canned goods, vouchers for fresh meat/chicken or fish as well as 30 fresh eggs and loaves of bread. The participants are contacted by welfare services as to when the distribution will take place and then they are required to make the effort and come to our offices to pick up. more
