Israel cat lovers' society's agenda is to control street cats over-population by neutering them. It also provides medical care to street cats and promotes humane treatment of all cats.

Israel Cat Lovers' Society was founded on 1966 to eliviate the suffer and improve the horrible conditions of street cats in Haifa and vicinity. It is operated solely by volunteers and financed mostly by donations, as government help for strays is very limited. The society's volunteers trap cats and local veterinary clinics neuter them. The volunteers then release them to their original locations. This TNR operation is fully financed by the society.
The Society also finances medical treatment for sick or injured street cats at certified clinics. It promotes the cause of street cats in all the common social media and represents the street cats' rights in Haifa and vicinity.
