Yad Eliezer was established in 1980 with the single objective of delivering monthly food baskets to hungry families.
Today, Yad Eliezer provides assistance to over 10,000 families each year, impacting the lives of at least 100,000 individuals, through its more than 15 economic and social service programs.
Yad Eliezer aims to combat poverty on the individual, family, communal, and national levels by providing critical short-term relief while simultaneously confronting the underlying causes of indigence, forging broad-based solutions that empower long term financial and emotional stability.
Yad Eliezer operates on an annual budget of $22 million, with minimal overhead, thanks in part to our 10,000 volunteers.
