Since 1989, The National Religious Institute in Tsfat has inspired Jews of all backgrounds,
and has taught them the depth and beauty of their Jewish heritage. It
is the supporting organization of Yeshivat Hesder Tsfat, and of the
Learning Center for Personal Development. The Institute also sponsors
out-reach programs for post-army adults (Mayanot) community
celebrations of Jewish holidays, Independence Day, and Jerusalem Day
(Ruach Tzfat) , a teachers’ training program (Midrasha) and it works
with the Tzfat Municipality to offer social and educational programs
for the Tzfat community. The Institute also helps members of the community find employment sponsors, cultural and social activities and organizes many projects in the city for the welfare of its residents.
