The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel (ARCCI) is a supervisory, tax-exempt, not-for-profit organization representing the nine Rape Crisis Centers (RCCs) that are located throughout Israel. The mission of the ARCCI is to reduce and, ultimately, eliminate sexual violence on a national level, as well as to promote the human rights and social justice of its citizens. The ARCCI is the only organization in Israel dedicated to improving the interaction between Israel’s authorities and victims of sexual assault. ARCCI seeks to: empower victims by improving support, treatment, and legal aid available to them; advocate for victims’ rights by promoting legislation and influencing public policy; engage the media in raising the national awareness of sexual violence; enhance sensitivity of law enforcement officers and jurists to issues of sexual violence; carry out prevention activities, professional training, and educational programs.
