FFNI was founded in 1991 and has since been operating as a nonprofit organization. FFNI main goal is to provide financial, educational and social support to needy immigrants. The fund is managed by a number of public figures on a voluntary basis, who represent various immigrant associations in the city. All of our volunteers are highly respected citizens of Be'er Sheva who have received many honors; seven of whom have been awarded The Keys of the City. The organization is well rooted within the community and has high credibility and accountability among both the target population and the municipal authorities with whom we have excellent collaboration.
We are the only organization that provides immediate response to cases in which the establishment cannot treat. During its years of operation, the Fund has helped more than 40,000 families in need, from a variety of countries, and has been helping about 1500 individuals every year.
