Kfar Tikva

A Home and Community for Adults with cognitive, developmental and emotional disabilities Kfar Tikva is a kibbutz like community overlooking the Jezreel Valley in Northern Israel. Our 200+ residents range in age from 20 to 80, and represent a broad spectrum of developmental,cognitive and emotional disabilities. We provide our residents with the flexibility and choices to enable each resident to reach their potential, regardless of their limitations. Some residents live on the grounds of the village itself, while others live in scattered, supervised residences in the nearby town and commute more to the village for a wide array of medical services, leisure activities, and employment options that we offer. This unique arrangement provides an opportunity for people to live independently in the community at large who would otherwise be unable to do so. For employment, some members work at the on-site boutique winery, creative workshops, dog kennel, or candle factory, while others are employed in the surrounding towns, in supermarkets, kindergartens, and various stores. For leisure, there are sports, computer classes, choir, drama etc.
