Pluralism in Modern Jerusalem- Rise up to the Challenge
The vision of Kehillat Mevakshei Derech is to create a "home grown" Judaism – one that grows from and reflects our experience as Jews and Israelis in our own sovereign state. An important piece of the vision is to share this understanding of Judaism with others and invite them to be a part of the ongoing evolution of Judaism in the 21st century.
The necessity has become acute. The residents of Jerusalem are striving to assure a place where all families and individuals can find educational, cultural and religious outlets in accordance with their beliefs. By working together with other schools, organizations, non-profits and community activists in our neighborhood we can strengthen each other and make Jerusalem the kind of place we all want to live in.
Kehillat Mevakshei Derech finds itself uniquely positioned to be a hub for this integration of community resource.
