Aliyah and Klitah, guidance, services, help to new and veteran English-speaking immigrants. Student Connect Project connects Jewish students in Israel and around the world. AACI Remembers Project honors those who fell in acts of terror or war AACI's aliyah and klitah department actively supports immigrants of all ages and from all backgrounds throughout Israel. Since 1951, our professional counseling staff has provided critical information and guidance with expertise and warmth, facilitating the absorption of thousands of Enlish speakers and ensuring successful acclimation to Israel. The goal is to enable theimmigrants to succeed and ideally thrive in Israel. Counselors receive calls, e-mails and visits from immigrants and offer webinars on a variety of topics related to aliyah and klitah. AACI Remembers is a project of AACI which honors the memory of individuals from English-speaking countries or members of AACI who have died as victims of terror or in sercice to Israel. AACI's rich history of honoring these individuals began in 1967 and includes gathering information and stories about each of them. Remembering and honoring each individual has specia meaning for our community; our strong commitment to the people of Israel is a vital part of our identity. Each year we join as a community to remember and honor the falen with shared memories and thoughts in a movin tribute. We have now digitized these resources to greatly expand the opportunity of those around the world to learn about and remember those who died. AACI Student Connect pairs Jewish university students from Isael and the diaspora, encouraging participants to explore their Jewish identity, andcreate realy human connections. The program helps to bridge the gap between our communities and provides resources for the participants to continue their Jewish journey. Each pair, one Israeli and one international student, have 4 one-on-one online meetings to explore Jewish identity, connection to Isreal, antisemitism and other challenges of the Jewish world. Additionally, they have 1 group sessions at the beginning and 1 group session a the end. So far, 200 students have completed the program.
