Commemorate the memory of fighters who fell in the War of Independence in the battle for Gzar, and the memory of the sons of Gzar defenders who fell while performing their duties in Israel's wars. Cultivate and preserve the mass grave site in Kibbutz Gzar. Work to collect material, documents and publications about Gzar and its defense in the War of Independence and about the fallen fighters and work to preserve it. Work to disseminate this material among association members, Gzar alumni and their children and insofar as possible to the general public. Initiate the presentation of a special award for research work, literary or artistic creation, journalistic articles, etc., which will be awarded once a year or every two years on the memorial day for the battle of Gzar. Maintain contact with authorized authorities, bodies and public institutions and cooperate with them in all matters related to the association's goals.
