Darchei Avot is an organization dedicated to strengthening the Jewish identity, heritage, and values of IDF soldiers through inspiring and meaningful programs. Its mission is to instill in soldiers a sense of belonging, purpose, and national pride by deepening their connection to their roots and the people of Israel.

At the heart of Darchei Avot’s activities are immersive Shabbat workshops held weekly in Jerusalem, bringing together IDF units from across the country. These transformative weekends include joyful prayers and dancing at the Western Wall, educational sessions on Jewish values, and warm, unifying Shabbat meals. For many soldiers — some with little prior connection to Judaism — these experiences leave a deep and lasting impact.

In addition to Shabbat programs, the organization runs daily activities in Jerusalem, as well as evening study sessions and inspirational talks delivered directly to army bases, ensuring soldiers are spiritually supported wherever they are.

Darchei Avot also sees it as a mission to support wounded soldiers through dedicated rehabilitation programs. These include emotional support, personalized workshops, and financial assistance to help them cope with physical and emotional injuries sustained during service. The organization also provides financial support for lone soldiers, ensuring they have a solid foundation during and after their military service.

By fostering a connection to heritage, the Land of Israel, and Jewish unity, Darchei Avot offers soldiers renewed meaning, inner strength, and a powerful sense of mission.
