Ladaat - Choose Well (formerly SHILO - Jerusalem's Family Planning Education & Counseling Center) was founded in 1976 to provide consultation and guidance services in family planning and birth control. It was the first association in the country to combine educational activity within the community, rendering personal and couple's consultation alongside medical service all under a single roof. The service is provided by a multi-disciplinary team - social workers, gynecologists, pedagogic counselors and health advisors. There are very few employees in the team and most of it is made up of volunteering members.
