Luba Slome Dental Center (A.R)

The Luba Slome Dental Center provides high quality, affordable dental care to the underprivileged of Jerusalem, while running educational programs for children and their parents to improve community attitudes to oral hygiene. Luba Slome has a staff of 40, including 13 dentists and 14 assistants. It offers cutting edge dental care at drastically reduced rates (up to 75% off standard dental rates, determined by need). Each year the clinic has more than 15,000 patient visits, 60% of them children. In addition, since 2005, Luba Slome has run educational prevention programs in the clinic's Education Room and in schools for about 3,500 children a year. Workshops include follow-up to ensure a long-term improvement in dental health. The clinic distributes accessible educational material on the prevention of childhood dental disease.
