Initiating, organizing, encouraging and managing research projects, with priority for the Gaza envelope region and the south, initiating, organizing, encouraging and managing projects for developing the Gaza envelope region, activities to create and establish information and research systems in the fields of society, education, culture, welfare, economy and science in the Gaza envelope region, organizing and managing them for the benefit of authorities and residents in the region, activities to create research and scientific infrastructure in the Gaza envelope region that will establish the human and economic resources in the Gaza envelope region and encourage expansion of this base, activities to create research and information relationships, information exchange and researchers and cooperation with research and information bodies and public institutions in Israel and worldwide regarding all matters related to the organization's activities, supplying research findings and information in various research fields to government ministries, public institutions, public and private bodies, in order to direct, improve and guide these bodies in their methods of activity and actions and in setting and implementing their policies regarding the economic, social, educational, cultural and scientific development of the Gaza envelope region, initiating and organizing conferences, seminars and research and/or study meetings in any field of the organization's activities, receiving donations and study and research grants for the purpose of financing the organization's activities without intent to make profits, including the creation of funds for scholarship payments, prizes, grants and the like for researchers and scientists in connection with research to be conducted in accordance with the organization's goals, publishing, printing and disseminating publications and research related to the Gaza envelope region, management and operation of the buildings necessary for the organization's activities
