To instill and educate in the values of love of Israel, pioneering settlement, dedication, and realization, with emphasis on commemorating the heritage of the Palmach and members of the "Daphnah Training" who fell in battles for the liberation of the Galilee in the War of Independence. Members and residents of Kibbutz Yirion who lived and worked in the Upper Galilee region. To develop and foster educational programs based on treatment and direct contact with animals - for children and youth, with emphasis on populations with special needs. To strengthen educational and welfare buildings for purposes of physical and spiritual culture, health, rehabilitation, and for the welfare of residents of the surrounding area (hereafter "target population"). Adoption, raising, and education of children from neighborhoods and/or families in social and economic distress, including care for their material and spiritual needs until military service. To fund acquisition of education and/or finance expenses related to broadening horizons, professional advancement, health, and studies of all kinds - all of these in Israel or abroad, belonging to the target population. To establish and manage a fund or funds that are entitled to receive donations and bequests of any kind, to convert them to money according to the association's judgment, to receive loans, and to use the funds for the purposes mentioned above
