Founded in 1989, The Abraham Initiatives is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that works to advance equality and cooperation among Israel's Jewish and Arab citizens.

Through its "advocacy through action" strategy, The Abraham Initiatives develops and operates groundbreaking social-change initiatives that have inspired public support and harnessed government resources to replicate programs and adopt policies that promote values of equality and shared society in Israel. These initiatives, built in the manner of startup companies in the hi-tech world, aim to prove their effectiveness within a certain time-frame. With the use of advocacy, the Abraham Fund attempts to persuade decision makers to take responsibility.
The Abraham Fund works to promote democratic values and social inclusion in Israel by creating and operating large-scale initiatives and conducting public education and advocacy that promotes its vision of shared citizenship and opportunity for all of Israel’s citizens. The Abraham Fund's initiatives in the fields of education, policing services, economic development and Arab Women's Leadership have fundamentally transformed Jewish-Arab relations
