The “Or Yakar” yeshiva is a Baalei Teshuva Yeshiva, located in the old city of Safed, overlooking the magical scenery of the holy Mount Meron and the surrounding area.
The Yeshiva was founded in 1991. Many of her brilliant graduates illuminate with their teachings the holy city of Safed and other cites in the country.
The returning to faith students compromise of beginners and advanced.
Moreover, there is a daily Kolel during the morning and afternoon hours where the best of learned teachers are guiding and teaching three study groups: beginners, advanced and veterans.
In addition to the educational curriculum of the Yeshiva and the Kolel, the facility also functions as an active and vibrant community gathering place, where the students enjoy the benefit of community members support, hospitality of Shabbat and holidays meals at hosting families, and more.
The Yeshiva provides all of the students’ expenses, and complete guidance and support in their spiritual journey with an emphasis of happy marriage living.
The Yeshiva and the community center are ran by professional and experienced team, lead by the prominent rabbi Yirmiyahu Cohen, may he live a good long life. Everyone enjoys and benefits from his dedicated, and enlightened influence and his personal guidance.
