Jaffa Theater is unique among Israeli theaters for its social and political mission. Jaffa Theater produces plays in Hebrew and Arabic and holds two major festivals, one on Arab and Hebrew women's achievements and an international theater festival for children. The theater works with and for diverse communities, both locally and internationally. Theatrical themes include social issues, national identities and tolerance.
