Founded in 1995, Kehillat Talpiot HaChadasha was originally established as a prayer community that would facilitate equality between men and women in the synagogue service as much as possible within the framework of Jewish law.  Located in the neighborhood of Talpiot-Arnona in Jerusalem, its spiritual leader is Former MK and Minister Rabbi Michael Melchior. A vibrant community with families of all ages, the synagogue is commonly known as “Beit Boyer,” the name of the daycare center in which services have been taking place for the last two decades. The community currently has the opportunity to purchase and expand the space that it has been renting and is embarking on a fundraising campaign to establish a beautiful, spacious, handicapped accessible facility that will enhance the spiritual and communal life of the residents of Talpiot-Arnona and will be worthy of the city of Jerusalem.
