Founded in 1996, the Mercaz Chareidi Institute of Technology in Israel is a non-profit, leading vocational training school for the chareidi public. Its mission is to provide Charedi men and women with quality education and professional training that empower them with the skills and knowledge necessary to develop their unique potential in the work force while building themselves, their families, and their communities. The Mercaz offers some 40 courses in a wide variety of fields designed to match the needs of the Israeli market. The many courses include: computer programming, graphic art and web design, accounting and bookkeeping, interior design, architecture, electrician training, advanced management course, and industrial design.
