Torah MiTzion believes in the relevance of the words of the Prophet Isaiah: "For out of Zion shall go forth Torah, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem". We work to impact and inspire Jewish communities with Torah and Zionism.

Torah MiTzion recruits, trains and sends shlichim (emissaries) to Jewish communities around the world to inspire them with Torat Eretz Yisrael. Each team of shlichim is is matched to the needs and dynamics of the community. The shlichim, including singles (22-24 years old) and couples, are carefully selected graduates of pre-army training academies (and national service) and the finest Hesder Yeshivot where advanced study is combined with Israeli army service, usually combat duty. The candidates must fulfill rigorous acceptance criteria, including previous experience in teaching and informal Jewish education.
Their love of Judaism, Torah and Israel is contagious and a source of inspiration for all who participate in their formal and informal educational activities. Torah MiTzion shlichim serve as a personal example of a generation of Israelis who are committed to both their Judaism and to serving their country and defending their people.
