Noga's cases have already led to many legal precedents which are creating a change in the treatment of victims of crime. Among the precedents are court decisions relating to disclosure of private materials in cases of sexual abuse and rape, such as personal diaries and treatment records, decisions which order large physical distances between the offenders and the victims, decisions regarding early release of prisoners who are dangerous to the public, and more. Many of these decisions, compiled together, are changing the way that victims of crime are treated in Israel and ensuring that Israel continues to be a country where the basic rights all citizens are protected and upheld.
