ZAKA Tel-Aviv is the first and largest ZAKA organization in Israel. The organization works with security authorities, municipalities, and emergency services, day and night, 365 days a year.
The organization’s portfolio is well-known and there is no need to introduce it at length. Our purpose and goal is one – Chesed Shel Emeth, that is, assisting others in dire need without asking for any reward.
Our volunteers, spread across the Gush Dan region, from Herzliya in the north to Holon and Bat Yam in the south, up to Savion, Or Yehuda, and Ganei Tikva, handle any unnatural death (accidents, suicides, murder cases, decomposing bodies, etc.), and, of course, large-scale disasters when they are seen on the news, tiling to bring every deceased person and every finding to a respectable Jewish burial.
We support the grieving families from the disaster to burial.
Unfortunately, the Tel Aviv district has the largest number of evets in Israel, almost as all other ZAKA districts throughout Israel together. This raises the need to acquire significant resources to fulfill the tasks we took upon ourselves.
Our organization is known as a “rescue service” by the Minister of Interior Security. The association is lawfully registered, with a valid Proper Management Certificate from the Israeli Non-Profit Registrar, a Clause 46 certificate for donations and necessary institutions, raising resources for its activity and operating over 500 volunteers.
We receive no assistance from any public and governmental entity, and the association has no payroll expenses. All incomes are dedicated to activity, and recently, donations became less frequent, and we must procure expensive equipment, and thus we once again appeal to people with a big and kind heart, such as yourself, to come to our aid to permit us to continue our exalted and important work.
