The Society for the Advancement of the Oral Tradition in Israel seeks to foster research and development projects that further the knowledge and appreciation for the role of Torah Sheb'al Peh in Jewish culture and society.

Our Society promotes educational projects and publications in the fied of Torah Sheb'al Peh. These projects range from funding of Torah Sheb'al Peh learning materials for needy immigrant students in Israel, to the research and development of publications of the literature of Torah Sheb'al Peh, and educational initiatives to further the study and appreciation of Jewish Oral Tradition.
