Chabad of Katamon’s Emergency activities during Operation Iron Swords:
Mobilizing volunteers to provide food, services, and supplies throughout Israel.
A special campaign to get relief to those affected by the terror in the South of Israel is being organized by Chabad of Katamon and run by our small staff and hundreds of volunteer members of our community and the greater Katamon area, regardless of religious affiliation. We saw a need and jumped in to fill it. When people heard what we were doing they rushed to help. We have more than exhausted our funds and supplies. We’re soliciting donations from individuals, restaurants, and businesses - but the more funds we have the more good we can do.

All funds donated on the campaign’s page will be used exclusively for this project and not for the funding of other activities, that is a separate fund that can be accessed through our non-profit’s main page.
Chabad of Katamon is largely a religious community institution dedicated to Jewish education for children and adults. Education is also action and we have a long history of community involvement and providing for the welfare of our neighbors in need.
