The Effie support center helps families who's children have just been diagnosed with the syndrome. It organizes conferences, lectures, visits to educational institutes in order to promote the awareness to the syndrome.
It acts to promote awareness regarding Asperger Syndrome in mass media as well as in govermental departments dealing with education, welfare and health.
Effie's volunteers guide parents with their negotiations with the education system, national welfare and other institute that are responsible for their children welfare.
