Simchat Halev - Clowns at Heart also trains professional clowns to be specially prepared to volunteer in sensitive medical and therapeutic environments. Across Israel, our clowns and trained volunteers provide a unique kind of encouragement for children and adults in the most sober circumstances: chronically ill patients, cancer patients, terror victims, the terminally ill, victims of abuse, youth in distress and others.
The mission of our organization is twofold: 1) To provide aid, support, encouragement, happiness and love for adults and children in emotional distress. We place special emphasis on patients suffering from serious and chronic illness, terror victims and the terminally ill. 2) To give emotional and moral support in various treatment settings: therapy centers, special education schools, nursing homes and hospitals.
