ARDC is a grassroots, community-based, nonprofit organization that was founded in 2004 by African asylum seekers and Israeli citizens. ARDC advocates on the community’s behalf and enables processes that increase awareness, ensure participation and inspire policy change. In 2016, activities included: paralegal assistance, rights education, skills-based workshops, higher education support, media outreach and guided tours for stakeholders. To date, ARDC has directly served over 14,000 refugees and asylum seekers from Eritrea, Sudan, Ethiopia and other countries.
