"Simcha Layeled" is dedicated to improving the quality of life and social welfare of disabled and seriously ill children in Israel. We concentrate our efforts on children with special needs overlooked by other NPOs.
Our mission is to address the kids needs, by providing the children with personal tutoring and activities tailored to meet their special needs, thus allowing them to experience a suitable social environment and friendly connections, as well as recreational activities as experiences by their healthy peers. Our work includes a "big brother/sister" program; all-year activities in 10 child departments in hospitals in Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv, Rehovot and Raanana; Support and recreation meeting for the parents; trips and holidays for the children throughout the year, including winter and summer sleep-away camps.
